Professor Charles Kwesiga the Executive Director Uganda Industrial Research Institute (UIRI) on August 29, 2021 Commissioned the first ever textile factory in Kabale at the Institute of Better Health Sky Luck Business and Technical Institute pointing out its core function “ for the betterment of community and national development.”

The initiative was enthusiastically welcomed by the District Local Leaders and Board Members of the Institute. The Chairperson LC V Hon. Nelson Nshangabashija said the project would empower many people with skills and create employment. While a Board Member Flavia Kyomukama said it was a timely skilling intervention for the girl child and youth who were out of school for a long period due to the pandemic.
